Big Stax 1100 (Day 2): Harder Does It Again

Level 17 (Blinds 3,000/6,000/1,000)
Total Entries: 428
Players Remaining: 78
Chip Average: 275,000 (46 big blinds)

Christian Harder
It's one thing to be one of the best players in the room.

It's another thing entirely when you keep getting the best cards.

We already noted one hand earlier in the day in which Christian Harder was holding pocket aces, and he just had the rockets again in a hand that sent Matt Matros to the rail.

Harder raised to 13,500 in early position before Matros re-raised to 35,000 from the small blind. Harder flat-called.

Flop: K J 6♣

Matros again bet 35,000 and Harder pushed all-in, which Matros quickly called..

Harder: A♠ A      Matros: A K♣

Turn: 7♣
River: 8♣

Matros was unable to make a set of Kings as the board ran out, and Harder chipped up to more than 600,000.
