Day 1A Players Remaining: 40

Day 1B Entries: 253
Day 1B Players Remaining: 69

Total Players Remaining: 109

Day 1B Chip Leader: Kane Kalas
No one from Flight 1B quite encroached on the 521,000 mark set by Travis Greenawalt yesterday, but there were quite a few players who finished tonight at or around the 400,000 mark.

First and foremost among them was Kane Kalas. No matter how many times we walked over to Table 45, Kalas was always folding pre-flop. Yet, he somehow kept having more chips every time we returned. We never got a chance to write about any of his big hands, but he managed to finish the night with 440,000 chips.

Kalas is looking to build on what has already been an incredible few months of tournament poker. He cashed in 3 WSOP events over the summer, including a 115th-place finish in the Main Event, good for $52,141. He proceeded to place 30th in the Big Stax 1500 in August before final tabling the 2 biggest events at the Borgata Poker Open, earning $500,364 for his second-place finish in the WPT Championship.

Just barely behind Kalas is Joe "Mush" Galazzo with 438,500 chips.

Among those battling for the bronze were Aaron Overton (417,000), Alex Rocha (404,000), Rob Gaudio (396,500) and James Kaplan (382,000).

A full list of chip counts and seating assignments for Day 2 will be posted as soon as possible - hopefully within an hour.

If you weren't one of the 109 players to bag chips and you still want to throw your hat in the ring, registration is still open until play resumes at 12 noon. Anyone registering will still receive a full stack of 50,000 chips.

Because registration is still open, a payout structure is not yet available. An unofficial structure has $105,980 listed as the top prize, so feel free to use that as a barometer for what to expect up top when the official structure is released.

A quick note about tomorrow's structure: Levels 16 through 21 will be 1 hour each in length. There will be a 15-minute break after Levels 17 and Levels 19 and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 21. Beginning with Level 22, levels will last 90 minutes each with a 10-minute break after each level. Play will continue tomorrow either until the end of Level 24 or until the final table is reached.

Again, play will resume at 12 noon tomorrow. If you can't join us here at Parx, make sure to keep following along on the blog to find out who finishes where.
