The first level of the day is now done, and players are posting blinds of 3,000/6,000/1,000 in Level 17. The action was a little slower than expected over that first hour of the day, but not slow enough for some players who didn't make it out of the level. Notables that were seen walking away from the tournament area for the day included Sean Wallace, Bob Brady, Steven Sarmiento, and Mohammad Farah. Alex Rocha (Brigantine, NJ) felt a little bad about sending home a good friend, making it clear on Twitter:
All hotels sold out last night so @Walllllly let me sleep in his bed. I return the favor by eliminating him from day 2. I'm an awful human.
