Michael Briggs climb is continuing, as he just took down a big pot against Justin Liberto. We approached the hand on the turn, with the board reading 3♥ 3♣ 9♣ 8♣. Briggs checked to Liberto (who was on the button), and watched as Justin put out a bet of 71,000. After asking for the amount, Briggs put in the chips for a call. The dealer placed down the 7♠ on the river, and Michael checked once again to Liberto. Justin's bet was 70,000 on the river, and Briggs went through the same process before making the call.
Liberto said to Briggs that he was good, and Michael turned over J♣ J♦. Liberto dropped down to 300,000 after absorbing the loss, while Briggs jumped up to 660,000.
