Big Stax 500 (Day 1B): Lillis Ends McGuire's Misery

Level 8 (Blinds 400/800/100)
Total Day 1B Entries: 152

Jimmy Lillis (Robinsville, NJ)
Michael McGuire's day has been well documented, and it's been a roller coaster.  He started by cracking Chetna Joshi's pocket aces when he flopped a straight, chipping up to 80,000 in Level 4.  He then hovered around that amount for a few levels before running his K♣ K into the A♠ 10♣ of Joseph Agron (and losing), dropping down to 27,000.

McGuire did he best to recover after the hand with Agron, but he was just eliminated by Jimmy Lillis.  The two got the chips in on the turn of a board reading Q♠ 8 6 9♣ , with Michael thinking he may be in solid position with 8♠ 9♠.  That would be until he saw Lillis flopped a set of queens, leaving Michael with nothing to do but collect his things and leave the field.

Lillis had Michael covered by only 500 in chips, but the pot gets Jimmy over the starting stack for the first time in a while.
