The tournament supervisor has just gone over the rules for the day with the players that are already seated, and the cards are now in the air for Day 1B of the Big Stax 500. After totaling 233 entries yesterday, it will be interesting to see the type of numbers that come out to start the weekend. There was a large number of notables to bag chips last night, led by Robert Sichelstiel (Perkasie, PA) with 504,500.
The same rules apply today as they do for most all of the Big Stax "main" trophy events, with the exception of the 40,000 starting stack. Levels will last (45) minutes throughout the day, with play concluded after the completion of Level 15. Dinner break (which lasts for 75 minutes), falls at 6:30pm and lasts until 7:45pm. Once the tournament area fills up and a lap around the room is made, a posts with the notables in this early field will be published.
