Who wants to deal with hand-for-hand play?  Not this Big Stax 300 field.  Just as the 145th place player was leaving the tournament area, we would have an all-in at Table 52 with Tham Nguyen at risk.  Nguyen check-raised his remaining stack again Mike Dimaiuta on a flop of A♠ A♣ 8♠.

Mike would think for a few moments before making the call, and he'd be in supreme shape.  Nguyen held K♥ 8♣ against Dimaiuta's A♦ 10♠, and it would be all over on the turn.  Players would have to wait for hands at all of the tables to be done before the announcement would be made official, but nobody else would be eliminated.

Tham Nguyen ends up the Big Stax VIII 300 bubble boy, and everyone remaining is now eligible for their share of the prize pool.
