Big Stax 1100 (Day 3): 2nd Place - Perry ($68,501)

Level 31 (Blinds 75,000/150,000/25,000)
Total Entries: 428
Players Remaining: 2
Chip Average: 10,700,000

Jacob Perry (Branchville, NJ) - 2nd Place ($68,501)

Jacob Perry's last words to Travis Greenawalt (other thanks congratulating him) were, "I didn't stand a chance heads up."  Now that may be a real stretch, because nobody get's down to heads-up play in such a quality tournament with playing exceptionally.  Perry had been furiously trending upwards since doubling during five-handed play, but everything seemed to come to a halt heads-up.

Down to his final 3,500,000, Perry shoved over an open from Travis, and was immediately called:

Perry: K 8♣
Greenawakt: J♣ J

Runout: 5A♣ A 4♣ 9♠

Perry eclipsed his lifetime earnings with this cash alone, coming into the day with $41,850 total, and a top cash of $11,083.  His (15) total results go back to 2011, with this $68,501 score the highlight of his short tournament career.
